Selection of Validators
Uni2Chain operates with a fixed number of initial active validators: 151 Sovereign Nodes. These nodes are selected and authorized by the founding team based on criteria such as commitment, technical capability, initial investment, and alignment with the ecosystem's mission.
No economic staking system is used. Participation as a validator requires initial staking for infrastructure, security, and node access, and Uni2Token locks to validate blocks.
Once a validator proposes a block, it must be signed by a majority of authorized validators according to the PoA protocol. This process ensures rapid finality and prevents forks, reducing the risk of chain reorganization.
